‘Rivertime’ Passenger Boat Operating Information – 2026
All standard cruises will depart from out regular mooring at the River and Rowing Museum in Henley-on-Thames
(Other than two weeks from 1 to 12 July when we will be based at Bisham Abbey near Marlow).

Rivertime can carry up to 12 people.
Operates from Henley -on-Thames and Bisham Abbey, Marlow
Maximum 12 passengers to include no more than 5 wheelchairs users. Within the total (12) we there will be at least one carer (or able-bodied group helper) for every 3 less able passengers.
Wheelchair passengers must be accompanied by a personal carer 1-2-1.
Standard Boarding Times:
11:00 am – 1:00 pm
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
5:00pm – 7:00pm (May-August only)

Trips are designed to be for educational purposes and the Rivertime Boat Trust has been awarded Council For Learning Outside the Classroom Accreditation.
‘All Aboard’ Joint Education Programme
Rivertime has also partnered with the educational department at the River and Rowing Museum in Henley to offer more in depth educational program to learn about the environment and rivers.
Attendance involves a fun morning session in the interactive River and Rowing Museum classroom, where children are invited to learn though practical interactive work stations. Teaching is tailored to the ability of each group.
Availability is currently more limited.
Children and teachers continue their learning on the river on ‘Rivertime’ with time for self provided lunch aboard.

Getting to Us and Parking at Henley on Thames
The Rivertime Boat operates mostly from the River and Rowing Museum jetty in Henley-on-Thames, RG9 1BF.
Ample parking (paid for) is is available in the River and Rowing Museum car park or in the bays on Meadow Road suitable for mini busses and cars on week days and at the nearby station carpark on weekends.
Blue badge holders park for free in disabled bays on Meadow Road
Access to the boat is easy and only a short distance from the parking along a concrete pathway.
Getting to Us and Parking at Bisham Abbey - July 1-12 Only
From June 28-July 11 only, Rivertime is operating from The National Sports Centre at Bisham Abbey, Marlow SL6 1RR.
Wheelchair access is not possible here.
There is ample free parking on site for mini buses and cars.
