The Rivertime Boat Trust is a registered charity number 1113992.
The charity receives some income from hiring ‘Rivertime’ and also relies on 30 volunteers, however, operating, maintaining and developing our boat for people with disabilities and disadvantages is a very costly operation.
We are extremely grateful to all those who donate money, time and expertise to allow Rivertime to operate each season.

Volunteer Aboard Rivertime
Volunteer
The Rivertime Boat Trust is dependent on a large group of experts with administrative and boating skills.
Apply to volunteer your time and expertise to help us with various aspects involved in the running of the Trust or on our boat and can offer the requisite training where required.

Grant Making
Trust Support
The Charity is so grateful to have been supported by a large number of grant giving trusts, individuals, companies and charities since its inception in 2008.
The Rivertime Boat Trust revenue model is based upon a portion of income generated for trips for some adult trips
The remainder and a large section of our activities includes educational river trips for SEND school children – All of these are provided at NO charge by the charity and can only happen by way of generous grants.
Our booking system is able to track each trip to a specific cohort, down to geography if required by the funders

Sponsor Trips
Sponsor a Trip
Many trips on ‘Rivertime’ have been sponsored so why not choose your most deserving charity, group or family and sponsor a trip for them on the boat?
This would enable those who cannot afford it to enjoy their special time on the river.
Our bookings team will contact the recipients and deal with the bookings an logistics and keep our sponsors in touch about the details of the trip.

Fundraising and Events
Over the years, Rivertime has been supported by many fundraising events, both externally and by volunteer/staff led expeditions and challenges, along with Local business initiatives.
We are keen to be involved and support, where possible, all initiatives that will support our charity.
