Job Description:

Rivertime Boat Trust, an award-winning charity based in Henley on Thames, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated part-time Marketing Assistant to join our team on a project basis. The successful candidate will play an essential role in helping us increase our reach and attract new groups to experience our accessible passenger boat on the River Thames.

The Rivertime Boat Trust is a charity dedicated to providing adults and children with learning and physical challenges the opportunity to enjoy the River Thames. Our specially designed accessible passenger boat, equipped with a wheelchair lift, offers a unique and enriching experience for those who might not otherwise have the chance to appreciate the river and its surroundings.

Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing marketing strategies and plans

Distribute brochures to potential clients, partners, and relevant organizations

Follow up with contacts and nurture relationships to attract new groups to come on board

Maintain and update our database of contacts and leads

Collaborate with the team to develop creative marketing materials and strategies

Monitor and report on the success of marketing initiatives

Payment:

We will pay a fair price depending on experience that will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements:

Prior experience in marketing, sales, or a related field is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Passion for the mission of Rivertime Boat Trust and a desire to make a difference
